About Prime Family Dental

I am thankful to be in a profession where I get to see the direct and immediate impact of my work, and am able to improve the lives of so many. A healthy mouth and a beautiful, confident smile are my goals for each patient at Prime Family Dental.

I love the relationships that develop with each of my patients. I enjoy hearing about a person’s life, hobbies, accomplishments, and families. Because this is a family-centered practice, I care for patients of all ages. It’s fun to get to know a child at their first visit, making sure their experience is a positive one. It’s just as fulfilling to be caring for an older patient, restoring function and giving them the ability to smile comfortably and confidently.

I’ve been involved in dentistry for over ten years, first in Dental Assisting, then in obtaining my Doctor of Dental surgery degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My work doesn’t feel like “work” to me: I spend my days helping remarkable people improve their oral and overall health, along with their smiles. What could be better?

I knew early in life, through experience with family members in the dental field, that dentistry would be my profession of choice. Not only does it so closely align with my meticulous and caring nature, but it also utilizes the perfect combination of art and science to treat patients’ individual dental needs.

I studied at Hofstra University in New York and graduated with honors in 2000, receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with minor concentrations in Chemistry and Fine Arts. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery license and graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2004.

During my time in Chapel Hill, I fell in love with the area and decided to make North Carolina my permanent home. My mother and three brothers now reside in North Carolina as well. I enjoy painting, cooking, hiking, working out, traveling and spending quality time with my family.

I have over 18 years of experience as a general dentist, certified in Invisalign, and an active member of the American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental Society. I am thrilled to be with Prime Family Dental and am available to address any dental concerns you may have!

I have been working in dentistry for over 20 years. I always make sure to treat our patients the way that I would want to be treated. I grew up in the mountains of Virginia and moved to North Carolina over 39 years ago. My partner and I love to travel in our RV on the back roads of our beautiful country with our two dogs, Ginger and Rosie! 

My goal as a Dental Hygienist is to get patients excited about going to the dentist, especially here at Prime Family Dental! I treat each patient as a unique individual, so that we can design a treatment plan together that fits their needs. I grew up in New Jersey, but I am happy to call Raleigh my home! My husband and I enjoy cooking, hiking, and playing with our French bulldog Jax!

I have been a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) for over eight years now and I truly enjoy working in the dental field! I love making patients feel at ease during any procedure here at Prime Family Dental. Outside of my career I enjoy spending time with my family and going out to eat with my friends. I cannot wait to share many laughs with all of you!

As a dental hygienist, I love getting to know each patient and caring for their oral hygiene needs! I am originally from New York; however, I’ve spent the majority of my life right here in Apex, NC. I graduated with Honors from UNC School of Dentistry and could not be happier to be a part of the Prime Family Dental team. In my free time, I enjoy painting ceramics, collecting Disney pins, traveling, and spending time with my friends, family, and cats!
